Who we are
Better is a social betting app for sports fans. We are operated by an individual developer.
What we collect
- Account info: email address, display name, username, and date of birth (used for age verification only)
- Usage data: bets you create or join, squads you belong to, predictions you make
- Device info: push notification token (to send you bet and match alerts)
- Advertising: we use Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data per Google's privacy policy
What we don't collect
- We do not collect payment information or real money
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- We do not collect your location
How we use your data
- To operate your account and show your activity within the app
- To send push notifications about bets, matches, and squads you're part of
- To show relevant advertising
Data storage
Your data is stored securely via Supabase on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children
This app is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
